It is not too late to be a part of the 2009 GLR-N Summer Encampment.  If you have not yet attended your basic encampment, now it is a great time to attend, as it is a requirement to apply for National Cadet Special Activities and Civil Air Patrol Scholarships and it is also a requirement for the Mitchell Award! 
 
Openings are also still open for Region Cadet Leadership School (a requirement for completion of Phase 4 of the cadet program) and for cadets to work in Air Operations.  (Both require previous encampment attendance, CLS requires minimum grade of c/Ssgt or a waiver from the school director.) 
 
 If you haven’t already mailed in your application at this point, please do not send it by mail.  Instead, please hand-carry your application packet and payment to encampment with you.  However, we need you to email the following information to the encampment admin officer:
 
·         Name
·         Grade
·         Date of Birth
·         Gender
·         CAPID
·         Last four digits of social security number
·         Address
·         Telephone number
·         Adult t-shirt size
·         Emergency contact information
·         Program attending

Again, if you haven’t mailed in your application and payment yet, please do not do so.  Simply hand carry it to encampment.
